Beet root is listed first of twenty-five, which under labelling convention means it is the largest component by weight. The beetroot research is about nitrate content, and no Isagenix label states a nitrate figure — so the studies cannot be mapped onto this bottle even approximately.

The research on this product, and who paid for it
NOx is one of the few items in the line with a published trial naming it specifically. Here is what exists, in full, including the parts that do not flatter it.

Read the title in full. Blood pressure moved; flow-mediated vasodilation, the other thing the study measured, did not change significantly. The population was healthy young men with normal blood pressure over two weeks, which is a narrow window.
A company-funded study is not worthless and it is not proof. It is one result, produced by people with an interest in the outcome, and it is worth exactly as much as its design allows. That is why the funding sits next to the finding here rather than in a footnote.
What the evidence actually shows
Company-funded product trial — blood pressure
A randomised, double-blind controlled trial in 45 healthy men aged 18–40 over two weeks, comparing 2oz a day of this nitrate-rich supplement against nitrate-deficient prune juice. Plasma nitrate and nitrite rose about 67% and diastolic blood pressure fell in the active group. The null findings matter too: flow-mediated dilation did not differ significantly between groups, and neither did mood or sleep. The study was funded by an Isagenix grant and an Isagenix Director of Research and Science was a coauthor.
Company-funded product trial — exercise performance
A randomised controlled crossover trial in 15 well-trained adults aged 41–64. The nitrate-rich beverage substantially raised plasma nitrate and nitrite — but exercise time was not significantly different from placebo (p=0.31). Supported by an Isagenix grant, with multiple authors funded by the company. If you are buying this for endurance, that null result is the most relevant finding published on it.
